Today we learned a little about the Hypatia, a Greek mathematician whose was unlike many other women, teaching philosophy and science. However for that same reason she was killed by many people thought she was a "witch". With the other two people at our table, We competed to build the tallest structure out of paper and tape ours was the only other on that stood up, but were far far from winning. Learning about Venn diagrams was okay, but leaning to the boring side. So was just about everything else, except lunch.(I was hungry) We played set, which was about finding things that were either all the same, or all different. It was frustrating when I was not able to find many. I was also somewhat hungry when we were making pictures using polynomials so I made a watermelon and some random other designs. The program itself was really cool, but I rally didn't understand how it worked.  I am almost done with my book, and will read This Song Will save Your Life, it seems interesting. Pivot point was a okay book, but I may have judge it wrong due to the fact I read it in many segments. Today I was tired because of the little sleep I got. It started after lunch and my brain was like blahhhhhhhh, therefor I didn't pay attention. We learned about shapes and they were hard to put together. The best thing we do is the math Olympiad because we do it independently and the answers are reveled and explained afterward. I was thankful for the pineapple half of the pizza. I finished this song will save your life today. Last night I started Afterworld, which is a combination of two stories.(Making it longer than most.) One half is about a girl who wrote a story and is having it published. The other half is the story she wrote, about Lizzie, the only survivor of a terrorist attack. I really like master mind, but sometimes trying to go faster didn't leave as much time to think. We also learned about different types of numbers and added on to the fundamental counting principle. There were lots of different patterns in the Fibonacci sequence. I ate lots mash potatoes and Oreo fluff. I think thy threw over half of the mash potatoes away. I won a stuff animal that depicted the school's mascot, the bulldog. I gave up on drawling the fractals, i kept messing up. There is a prize from coding, the one who gets the most problems right gets 20 dollars. So glad we are leaving this place, I like sleeping in late and faster classes. Goodbye dirty cabins and waking up at 6;15 and eating american food(although its not bad, especially the desserts.
